setld and non interactive install options ..

Hello Managers,
                Sorry about this repeat question .
                 I had seen a mail sometime back about using setld non interactively . I have tried
to look into the archives but can find any .
I'm trying to install a java-1.3.x on 40 machines , I want to automate this process .
