Hi
We are doing a test to see i/o performance on tru64 5.1a and
storage works with ES45.Right now if we do writes with dd,it uses UBC,sothe
after you do dd for 2 GB data it comes back saying the dd was complete in
2.5sec.But actually the i/o to the disk has not been
completed. It writes to the UBC and commits that the dd is over.In the
background you can still see the i/o going on after the dd is over.So is
there a way to use directi/o and do writes directly to disk instead of
using UBC.Or what would be a good test to i/o performance bypassing UBC.
Regards
Manish
