Dear Tru64 Managers,
My server has boot disk partition is mirrored under
LSM, as seen below by executing 'volprint -pt':
Disk group: rootdg

PL NAME VOLUME KSTATE STATE LENGTH
 LAYOUT    NCOL/WID MODE

pl rootvol-01 rootvol ENABLED ACTIVE 2161615
 CONCAT    -        RW
pl rootvol-02 rootvol ENABLED ACTIVE 2161615
 CONCAT    -        RW
pl swapvol-01   swapvol      ENABLED  ACTIVE
10258119 CONCAT    -        RW
pl swapvol-02   swapvol      ENABLED  ACTIVE
10258119 CONCAT    -        RW
pl vol-dsk0g-01 vol-dsk0g    ENABLED  ACTIVE   5349694
 CONCAT    -        RW
pl vol-dsk0g-02 vol-dsk0g    ENABLED  ACTIVE   5349694
 CONCAT    -        RW
BTW, boot device console parameters are as follows:
boot_dev = dsk0,dsk1
bootdef_dev = dsk0,dsk1
booted_dev = dsk0
They are UFS-based file systems.
Filesystem                1024-blocks        Used
Available Capacity  Mounted on
/dev/vol/rootdg/rootvol       1063479      193943
763188    21%    /
/proc                               0           0
     0   100%    /proc
/dev/vol/rootdg/vol-dsk0g     2632975     1395007
974670    59%    /usr
Question:
If I want to overwrite all files in / and /usr file
systems by restoring from backup media
(file system dump), could anybody want to share w/ me
how to do that? System is booted
from Tru64 binary/installation cd, right?
Thanks alot in advance.
Rgds,
Ronny Yusniawan
