Dear managers,
The proposed solution was (thank you sysadmins!) to disable the auto
formfeed on the printer. We already had tried this, but the printer
didn't allow to disable the auto formfeed.
The solution is:
We found a way to change the application so it writes the formfeed
directly at the end of the text instead of writing it to a new line. Now
the formfeed is at the second last line of the form.
The problem was:
We run an application that used to print a formfeed after the last
visible line of text and very often this formfeed was at the very last
line of the form. This caused the printer to advance the paper twice.
