I now want to assign an IDENT number for this device, so that it would look
something like .............
root_at_avon:/home/bboddy >hwmgr -v d
HWID: Device Name Mfg Model Location
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

64: /dev/disk/dsk2c COMPAQ BD009122C6 bus-0-targ-2-lun-0
65: /dev/disk/dsk3c DEC HSG80 bus-1-targ-1-lun-0
68: /dev/disk/dsk6c DEC HSG80 IDENTIFIER=123
The only way I can thing of to do this would be to delete the HWID with
dsfmgr and recreate it again. However to do this I would have to unmount any
file systems attached which I can't do.
Is there anyway I can do this dynamically ?
Regards
Bill
