Managers,
We upgraded our 2 node GS160 cluster to Tru64 5.1a and applied patch kit one. After doing so, our DBA's started seeing this oracle error. We have logged calls with both Oracle and HP, but have yet to find a cause or resolution. Was wanting to see if anyone on the list has seen this behavior. The error is below, from the oracle log. We are not seeing any errors on the system side, other than oracle processes taking up most of the memory, and we have all memory available to use, and also we are seeing a high number of fault pages. Also, the DBA's are seeing some small corruption in some oracle temp files. Message from DBA follows.

The problem is still the same. After upgrade and changing hardware paths OS is eem not
statble as causing so many page fault in "vmstat" report.

That is triggering Oracle Dead Lock frequently since it up .
Please contact COMPAQ to straight it up . I am feeling that
we are runing Production Oracle in a unstable OS .
