This seems strange to me .. But the Guru's might have
an answer to the strange behaviour.
We have some "Blast tables" on our main compute Node (wildfire system
Tru64 5.1a pk4 ) . These are available locally and the same is nfs
exported to the other nodes .
Now we observed something really strange .
When the wildire system uses these files which are being accessed by
other compute nodes the nfs performance really shoots up actually the
system gives the best nfs thruput .
But when the system is almost idling the NFS performance really drops .
Could someone tell me why it is happening .
