Hi!
I am a newbie sys admin on Tru64, apologies if my question is too trivial.
I am operating a GS1280 under Tru64 5.1B. Via a KZPEA SCSI Controller, I have
hooked up a IDE RAID Subsystem. On this subsystem, I have configure two
logical drives, each with 1,191,070MB, or 1.14TB capacity. These drives are
detected properly on the SCSI bus.
The problem occurs when I try to configure these drives with diskconfig:
negative values pop up in the "End" and "Size" fields for partition c.
Values for the other partitions look fine. I tried to expand partition g to
the entire disk, but diskconfig reported a disklabel error. I append the
disklabel file that diskconfig created in /tmp on this attempt.
I also tried to configure my RAID array with smaller partitions (1GB - 700GB).
All these partitions could be configured with diskconfig without problems.
Is there a 1TB limit on disks? The AdvFS Utilities Specs mention something in
that direction, but I have not been able to find any other documentation in
that direction

As a side aspect, and this is probably really a newbie question: as I
experimented with more or fewer partitions on my IDE Raid, disk numbers
(/dev/disk/dsk?c) were never re-used. How can I make the system re-use them?
