Description
~~~~~~~~~~~
DeviceLock allows network administrators to specify which users can
access which devices (ports, floppies, MOs, and so on) on the local
computer. Once DeviceLock is installed, administrators can assign
permissions to LPT ports, CD-ROMs, COM Ports, or any other device,
just as they would to any share on the hard disk.
Network administrators may use DeviceLock to flush a storage device's
buffers (very useful for removable media) and to get extended
information about devices and NTFS partitions.
Remote control is also available.
	Main features of DeviceLock(tm):
 - Allows you to set which users or groups of users can access
   devices on the selected computer.
 - Allows you to flush a storage device's buffers by one mouse click.
 - Allows you to control DeviceLock Service from the remote
   computer, working under Windows NT.
 - Allows you to control DeviceLock Service from the remote
   computer, working under Windows 9x.
 - Allows you to get extended information about devices (such
   as file system, partitions and so on).
 - Allows you to get extended information about NTFS partitions
   (such as MFT size, position and so on).
 - Powerful and handy interface.
 - Automatic install and uninstall.
 - Y2K Ready!
 - Native versions for DEC Alpha and for Intel x86 platforms.
DeviceLock contains separate executable files: the Windows NT
service (dlservice.exe) and the remote manager for Windows NT
computers (dlmanager.exe).
