        Compaq has made the decision to support specific Alpha
        systems with NT4 SP6.  Details around the business reasons
        for this decision are available via the World Wide Web at

        The following Alpha systems are currently supported by
        Compaq when running Windows NT V4.0 Service Pack 6:

                AlphaServer 800
                AlphaServer 1000A 5/xxx
                AlphaServer 1200
                AlphaServer 4000
                AlphaServer 4100
               *AlphaServer 8200
               *AlphaServer 8400
               *Compaq Professional Workstation XP1000
                DIGITAL Personal Workstation
                DIGITAL Server 3000/3300
                DIGITAL Server 5000/5300
                DIGITAL Server 7000/7300
            

        NT4 SP6 should only be installed on the Alpha systems that
        are listed.  Support will continue on Windows NT Service
        Pack 5 for all Alpha systems

        * All Alpha systems, but especially those marked with an
        asterisk (*) above, should run the latest System Firmware
        and HAL kits, which are available via the World Wide Web at
