This kit contains the v4.22 NDIS4 drivers (Windows NT 4.0 and Windows
95 SR2) for the embedded DC21142/21143 NIC chip (directly mounted on 
the system board).

This kit may be useful to customers who
 1) uses the SecureON feature in our ClientWORKS; and
 2) have systems that 
      a) contain the embedded DC21142/21143 NIC chip 
         (directly mounted onto the system board); and
      b) contain 
           i) the v9.99 NDIS 4 driver 
              (for Windows 95 SR2 or Windows NT 4.0); or
          ii) any NDIS 4 driver older than v4.22 
              (for Windows 95 SR2 or Windows NT 4.0)

To install the Windows 95 v4.22 NDIS 4.0 DC21x4 miniport driver: 
  1) invoke the 'Network Neighborhood' icon 'Properties' dialog;
  2) click the 'Add..' button on the 'Configuration' tab page of 
     that dialog;   
  3) double-click the 'Adapter' icon, on the resulting dialog, to 
     start the 'Select Netwrok adapters' dialog;
  4) click the 'Have Disk...' button, on that new dialog, to start 
     the 'Install From Disk' dialog;
  5) set the 'Copy ... files from:' field to '..\Win95' (the 
     appropriate path), and click the 'OK' button to proceed;
  6) follow subsequent instructions till completion; be sure to 
     remove the old adapter after installing the replacement.

To install the Windows NT 4.0 v4.22 NDIS 4.0 DC21x4 miniport driver: 
  1) invoke the 'Network Neighborhood' icon 'Properties' dialog;
  2) click the 'Adapter' tab page in that dialog;
  3) click the 'Add..' button on the 'Adapter' tab page, to start 
     the 'Select Netwrok adapters' dialog;
  4) click the 'Have Disk...' button, on that new dialog, to start
     the 'Inssert Disk' dialog;
  5) set the only input field to '..\WinNT' (appropriate path), and 
     click the 'OK' button to proceed;
  6) follow subsequent instructions till completion; be sure to 
     remove the old adapter after installing the replacement.
