                BIOS.ROM     - 256K BIOS image file for system ROM flash.
                PHLASH.EXE   - flash ROM utility
                PLATFORM.BIN - flash ROM utility. (used under DOS to flash)
 
               note: This PLATFORM.BIN file is only used under DOS to flash
                      the system BIOS. It is different from the PLATFORM.BIN
                      included in Crisis Recovery Disk which is used under 
                      "RECOVERY MODE".

The following fixes are made to BIOS V1.03 to generate BIOS V1.05

- Fix PCCare problem (using the mcdutils.asm, utils.asm from Phoenix)

- Fix the wrong shadow ram display on summary screen when select video memory
  as 1.5, 2.5 MB

- Will check for VGA ROM signature during checksum, if not found then go 
  do crisis recovery. This feature allows the BIOS to look for a VGA ROM 
  signature before attempting to boot.

- Change platform.bin structure : divide the flash part into 4 logical 
  blocks. We now will erase all 4 blocks, then come back and program those
  4 blocks.

- Change platform.bin : to disable write to flash part right after successfully
  programming it. We do this to prevent anything from inadvertently trying
  to write to the flash part.

- Change bootblock code to ensure flash part is set to write-protect at startup
  until control transfers to normal boot.
 
- Change registers default settings and regs loading routines to make sure
  flash part is set to write-protect during the normal boot process until
  control transfers to the OS.

- Set default setting for "Secured Setup Configuration" = NO

- Set default setting for "PnP OS" = NO (necessary for NT)

CAUTION:

ONLY USE THIS BIOS TO UPGRADE FROM BIOS VERSIONS AFTER 1.00
