deskside system in a package that fits on your desktop -- with room 
to spare.

Now you can bring the server out of the closet and into the workplace. 
Our powerful, compact DECpc MTE systems give you a fast 486 processor 
and 32-bit EISA expansion capacity for demanding server, workstation,
and Windows NT* applications. A VESA VL bus enables one of the six 
EISA slots to support industry-standard local-bus options for 
ultimate speed. And all this power comes in a sleek new 
micro-tower enclosure, a third the size of many tower systems,
that fits easily on your desk, beside it, or mounted horizontally 
in a rack.

Advanced Video

The MTE systems use local bus video with next-generation GUI 
(Graphical User Interface) acceleration to achieve extraordinary 
video graphics speed, all the way up to 1024 x 768 with 256 colors. 
And the MTE's video system is upgradable to future video technology. 
The MTE systems also support RAM expansion up to 128 MB, expandable 
cache, and easy upgrades to Intel's OverDrive processor based on 
Pentium processor technology. With these and other features built in, 
all six slots are available for options.
