Creating the NCR 53C810 SCO UNIX Boot Time Loadable Driver (BTLD) 3.01.08

READ THIS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CREATE A SCO UNIX DISKETTE

Follow these instructions to create an image of the BTLD diskette for the 
DECpc XL Series.

Download the file BTLD.EXE from the DECpc BBS (508)496-8800.  Execute this
file under DOS to obtain the files DOSIMAGE.DOC, DOSIMAGE.EXE, TEMP.IMG, 
and LICENSE.TXT.  Restore the image of the driver to a formatted DOS 
diskette:

        dosimage restore temp.img a:

When this is complete, type the following to unpack the README.TXT and 
an image of the NCR SCO UNIX driver:  

        a:btld08

To create a SCO UNIX driver diskette, insert a DOS formatted floppy and 
execute the following:

        dosimage restore btld08 a:

This creates an image of the BTLD diskette.  If you have a machine 
running SCO UNIX, you can check the integrity of the diskette by
inserting the diskette and typing the following:

        sum -r /dev/rfd0135ds18

The result of this command should be the following:

        54543  2880 /dev/rfd0135ds18

If you get a result other than this, reload the software from the BBS.
