1)  Permedia 2, 3DLabs driver will work only when the SP3 or higher is loaded onto the system. 
    This is important when you install NT4.0 from CDROM. Otherwise the system will come up VGA 
    even though the user loaded the video driver correctly.  Be sure to always load SP3 before 
    updating the video driver.

2)  The Crystal sound driver is set to ensable the PC speaker.  To disable the PC speaker 
    follow the links to "start\programs\accessories\multimedia\volume control\options\advanced"
    and insure that the mute box is checked.  The PC speaker will now be disabled.

**  Plugging in headphones or speakers into the workstation will NOT disable the PC Speaker **

3)  Drivers for Permedia P2 Video, Crystal audio and 21143 network from the NT4.0 CDROM 
    will produce undesirable effects on the DIGITAL PWS.   These on board devices should be 
    loaded with the drivers supplied by Digital on the System Software CD.  For the latest 
    drivers please visit us on the web at :

4)  The AMI diagnostics do not currently support Crystal sound on this workstation.  When the
    new version is available copies will be distributed.

5)  The DIGITAL PowerStorm 4D30T graphics module must be installed in primary PCI slots 
    (top two PCI slots).  

6)  The 333MHz Pentium II requires a minimum BIOS revision of V1.03 on DPWSi+ series workstation.
