Installing  Digital ServerWORKS Agents for SCO UNIX from the web

Installation
------------
To install the SCO UNIX OS Digital ServerWORKS Agents, do the following:

1)Download the sco.Z  and unzip it to the <target-unzip-directory> on your local system.

2) Edit the line (Important step):

 cp -r /mnt/digital/eng/swm_us/agents/sco/* /tmp/sworks-install
 in the ‘setup’ file under <target-unzip-directory>/swmgrv42_web/swmgr/swm_us/agents/sco/

  to

  cp -r <target-unzip-directory>/swmgrv42_web/swmgr/swm_us/agents/sco/*  /tmp/sworks-install

3) run the ‘setup’ script
    # dtox <target-unzip-directory>/swmgrv42_web/swmgr/swm_us/agents/sco/setup | sh

   The setup script copies the image files from its current location to the
   /tmp/sworks-install directory.  You install the Digital Server Agents for SCO UNIX
   from media images copied to this directory.
   
4) Run SCO 'custom' on the media images:

   # custom
   
   Select "Software", then "Install New...".  

5) Choose the current server as the default location for the 
   machine to install from.

6) At the "Select Media" screen, choose "Media images", then "Continue".

7) At the "Enter Image Directory" screen, type in the directory 
   that contains the media images:

    /tmp/sworks-install

8) At the "Install Preference" screen, select "Full" to install 
   the agent.  

You are notified when the installation is complete.  

9) Reboot the system for the Digital ServerWORKS Agents changes to take
   effect.

Removal
-------
To remove the SCO UNIX OS Digital ServerWORKS Agents, do the following:

1) Run the SCO custom command by entering:

    # custom

2) Select "Digital ServerWORKS Agents (version 4.2)" for the 
   package to remove.

3) Select "Software", then "Remove Software...".  

4) Select "Remove" from the "Confirm Selected Software" screen.

5) At the information screen, select "OK".  At the "Removal complete" 
   screen, select "OK".  Exit custom.

6) Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
