Windows-NT Driver Addendum RoamAbout/FH ISA and PC Card Products ===================================== On the enclosed diskette, you will find the RoamAbout/FH Windows NT driver for the ISA Adapter and the PC Card Adapter. This addendum is intended to help you install the driver. This driver is compatible with any ISA-bus computer and any computer with a PC Card (PCMCIA) socket that runs Windows NT. Installation Instructions ========================= Windows NT should be running. Open the Network icon from the Control Panel, and choose the Drivers button. Choose the Add Adapter button, and then choose from the list. The Insert Disk dialog box appears, prompting you to insert a disk containing the network drivers you want to install. Insert the RoamAbout/FH NT diskette and click OK. The Select OEM Option dialog box appears, displaying the available Digital RoamAbout/FH drivers. Choose the name corresponding to the adapter you have installed in your system. Click OK to continue. Windows NT will load the appropriate object files from the diskette. The next dialog box , RoamAbout/FH Adapter Card Setup, allows you to change the current driver settings. The default values are shown above. Choose parameter values that are consistent with other RoamAbout/FH stations on your network. When you are satisfied with your selections, choose OK and Windows NT will install the driver. In the future, you may change the driver settings from the Configure button under Network Settings in the Network icon. Installing the Windows 95 and NT Site Survey and Configuration Tool. ==================================================================== From the File Manager choose Run and type in A:\SETUP. (If you are using a different drive designator replace the A: with the correct drive letter.) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. A new Program Group will be added to your Programs, called "RoamAbout Utilities". A Status Monitor will also be added to your "StartUp" group, that will automatically get executed when every you start your computer. To start the utility, double click on the Icon in the RoamAbout Utilities group for the Site Survey. The usage of this utility is self explanitory or you can use the HELP utility within the tool to help you further.
