Invokes the DEC Text Processing utility (DECTPU). By default, this runs the Extensible Versatile Editor (EVE). DECTPU provides a structured programming language and other components for creating text editors and other applications. EVE is a general-purpose text editor that is the OpenVMS default editor.For more information about editing with EVE, refer to the OpenVMS User's Manual or online help.
