Using the Online Documentation Library (ODL) Search Utility

Note: The ASTAware SearchDisc search engine included on this
CD-ROM can be used on Windows platform computers only. It will
not work on native OpenVMS platforms.

1. The main menu should display and the search engine should launch
when the CD-ROM is inserted into the drive. If it does not, start
autolaunch.exe from the root of the CD-ROM. The ASTAware SearchDisc
icon should appear in your taskbar when the search engine is running.

2. You can navigate from the main menu using categories, searching through
an alphabetical list of products, or with a search query.

Using ODL from a Hard Drive

If you choose to copy the ODL CD-ROM content to a hard drive, you will
need to reconfigure the search engine to retrieve search results from the
new location. This can be accomplished by:

1. Copying the entire CD-ROM to an area on a hard drive. For example, C:\ODL

2. Run MediaSwitcher.exe from the area you copied the CD-ROM to. This will
reconfigure the search engine to search and retrieve search results from the
new ODL location. This executable is located at the root of the CD-ROM.

Note: Be sure that the search engine is shut down before proceeding. To shut
the search engine down, click on the SearchDisc icon on your taskbar.

1. Enter the path where copied your ODL CD-ROM to. For example, C:\ODL

2. Enter this path again.

3. Restart the search engine by starting autolaunch.exe from the new location.

You may switch back to retrieving files from the CD-ROM at any time by running
this utility again.
