SNA servers for OpenVMS VAX and Alpha

The HP SNA Servers for OpenVMS VAX and Alpha are layered software products that connect OpenVMS VAX and Alpha systems to IBM mainframe systems in an SNA network.

HP SNA Servers for OpenVMS support synchronous communications lines at speeds from 9.6 Kb/s to 64 Kb/s, depending on the communications device being used on the OpenVMS system and a maximum of 16 to 255 concurrent SNA logical unit sessions, depending on the CPU. Both local and remote connections are supported from HP SNA Servers for OpenVMS into the IBM SNA network, using switched or leased lines in point-to-point or multipoint environments.

HP SNA Servers for OpenVMS also supports connections over X.25 switched virtual circuits using Qualified Logical Link Control (QLLC).
