Enterprise Integration Packages?

The Question is:

Last December I staged a couple of AlphaServer 4000 machines for a client.
Much to my surprise, the license kit contained more PAKs than their were
line items on the PO. I also found several CD-ROMs in the machine kit that I
hadn't expected. Apparently, m
arketing is giving away things to make life nicer for those who have to
dance with the devil from Redmond. Unfortunately, I never did figure out how
to get started on installing a number of these baubles. This stuff all was
"Enterprise Integration ... Win
dows NT"

These machines will be working in a mixed OpenVMS - Windows NT universe with
OpenVMS doing everything important and Windows NT boxes providing user
displays. We may want to serve display files to Windows NT. We will be
producing some data files for Window
s NT consumption.

What did I miss reading?
What's this stuff for?
Which PAKs go with which boxes?
Are there prerequisites for installing?
What size installation merits the effort?

The Answer is :

For information on specific packages and their contents, please contact
your reseller, or -- if you are the reseller -- please contact your
  corporate channels contact(s) directly.

The Enterprise Integration Packages are intended to allow OpenVMS and
Windows NT systems to interoperate more closely together.

There are various means of accessing information remotely, and of
generating displays on remote systems, including the DCOM and X Windows
packages. Without information on the particular requirements, specific
suggestions are difficult. As a general starting point, you will want
to become more familiar with what is available in the Enterprise
Integration Packages and in the OpenVMS "Affinity" projects in general.
