The Question is:

 
I am using UCX LPR to print to an HP JetDirect EXPlus3.
I never have any trouble printing one job at a time, however,
multiple jobs often produce "Network request Rejected"  For example, I
It seems to be less of a problem with the printer online than off, but can
happen
either way.  For example, I have the printer offline, send a small job.  The
job disappears from the que.
Any subsequent jobs get the error messsage and go on hold for 5 minutes.
If at any time I put the printer online, the first job will print.
Sending multiple jobs with the printer online may or may not
behave this way.  This is NOT a connection issue.  The Jetdirect can always
be pinged or Telneted to.

  Assuming you have reviewed the various existing discussions of printing
  to HP printers via TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX), please contact the
  customer support center -- there is insufficient information here to
  resolve the problem.  Expect to be asked the specific version of TCP/IP
  in use, and the installation status of any of the associated ECO kits.
