REXEC log shows DCL errors on login?

» close window

The Question is:

Hello! Any suggestions on this is greatly
appreciated:

OpenVMS 7.1 on AlphaServer has the
PATHWORKS 32 v.7.0 Xcursion server config'd.
I want to login from a Windows95 PC using
REXEC protocol. The message log shows that
a REXEC connection is successfully established
and the username/password prompts are delivered.
The problem is that the login script(s) are
not being interpreted correctly somewhere. I
have been through the REXECD_STARTUP.COM,
the SYLOGIN.COM, and the user's LOGIN.COM
without finding anything wrong/suspicious.

Here's a small sample of the error log message:
"%DCL-W-IVVERB, unrecognized command verb -
check validity and spelling /***************/
%DCL-W-IVVERB, unrecognized command verb -
check validity and spelling /TED/
%DCL-W-IVVERB, unrecognized command verb -
check validity and spelling /VMS/
%DCL-W-UNDSYM, undefined symbol - check validity
and spelling \SHOW\

Is there a way to get a verbose log that shows
which scripts and commands are being executed
plus the errors returned?

Thanks for the help!
Jenn

The Answer is :

Place SET VERIFY at the top of the SYLOGIN.COM and LOGIN.COM for starters.
