ANALYZE/ERROR and READERR/RTB errors? (DECevent)

The Question is:

 
One of our disks is reporting errors, so I would like to see what they
are...however, ANALYZE gives the follwing message :
DODO_$ anal/err/inc=dkd200
Error Log Report Generator                                      Version V6.1
 
 
%ERF-E-READERR, error reading SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSERR]ERRLOG.SYS;2
-RMS-W-RTB, 6126 byte record too large for user's buffer
 
Can I fix this (so I can see the errors) ? Failing that, how do I create a
new error log file ?

The Answer is :

 
  Please use a recent version of DECevent (DIAGNOSE) to analyze the error log.
 
  DECevent kits are available on various media -- you may already have a copy
  of the kit -- and are available for downloading from:
