PL/I on OpenVMS Alpha?

The Question is:

 
Is their a cross-compiler available for compiling
same PL/I source code on both OPEN VMS 7.1
system and on an Alpha Machine  ?
 
If available please provide me with the requisite
product information.
 
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  The Wizard is unaware of generally-available cross-compilers for
  OpenVMS VAX systems targeting OpenVMS Alpha, or OpenVMS Alpha systems
  targeting OpenVMS VAX.
 
  A PL/I compiler is available for OpenVMS Alpha, as well as for OpenVMS
  VAX.  For information on PL/I, see:

  In the case of various OpenVMS components written in PL/I, the components
  are occasionally translated for use on OpenVMS Alpha using the DECmigrate
  package.  (The exact mechanism used can be OpenVMS-version-dependent.)
