FMS and terminal emulation?

The Question is:

 
Hullo!
 
Will FMS work on terminal emulation software such as DECWindows on Alpha?
The documentation states that FMS supports up to VT420 but I can see no
mention of terminal emulation.

The Answer is :

 
  You will want to try this -- depending on what terminal features are used
  by FMS and which of these are supported by the terminal emulator, this may
