TCP/IP (UCX) telnet print queue stalls?

» close window

The Question is:

I'm printing on a Alpha 4100 using DecServers900TM. I'm using the
UCX$TELNETSYM symbiont. The printer will print the first job in the queue
no problem! The second job will stall in the queue. It will print if I
stop and
restart the queue.

The following message appear in the UCX log for this printer:
"open_socket_ast invoked with bad IOSB 660: connect to network object
rejected."

What am I doing wrong?

Any help you can give me will be appreciated!!

The Answer is :

Please upgrade TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX) to the current version
(V4.2 at present) and apply the available ECO kit.

If this does not resolve the problem, please contact the customer support
center -- additional information on the version, the configuration, and
the specific printer will be required to resolve this. You may potentially
be asked for the contents of certain log files as well.
