The Question is:

 
We have software that used to runing on the dump terminal with DECServer
700. Can I just install TCP/IP (UCX) and run the same application without
any problem?

The Answer is :

 
  The Wizard will assume you meant "dumb terminal".
 
  Try it.  Most user-level dumb terminal operations are entirely oblivious
  to the use of a serial line, or the LAT or telnet network protocols.
