The Question is: Many of our users have been using ALL-IN-1 for word processing for several years and have accumulated several hundred documents each. They would now like to import their documents into their desktop's word processor. I suggested these users use the DT SV option, but: 1. They don't want to do this for every document (understandible), and 2. They don't want to lose the formatting. How can I convert all the .WPL documents to .RTF (or something else I can import into Word, WordPerfect, or whatever)? Is there a way to keep the same name and file structure (i.e. folders) the user had? Thanks. The Answer is : The Wizard recommends installing the DIGITAL Office Server MAPI Driver on the desktop. This will allow the users to access these documents from Microsoft Outlook or Exchange clients. When the user opens up a WPS-PLUS document, a temporary copy is converted to RTF so that the document can be read from Microsoft Word. Please see the web page: http://www.openvms.digital.com/commercial/a1mapi.html for additional details. An updated version of the product will be shipping to customers shortly.
