The Question is:

Sharing tape devices in VMS Cluster

Hello!

I've got three VAX machines running under VMS 5.5-2 in my cluster.

How do I make tape device on one node available to other two nodes?

I've already set the TMSCP_LOAD parameter to 3, but other two machines still
can't see the device. When i run SYSGEN and go TMSCP, I get
TSRVALLOAD message, so ???

What did I miss?

Thanks for your answer...

The Answer is :

Without information on the particular tape drives, this question is
  difficult to answer with certainty.

The OpenVMS Wizard will guess that these tape drives are SCSI tape
drives, and will point out that TMSCP services for SCSI tape drives
was added in V6.1. Prior to V6.1, you will have to serve and mount
the required disk(s) on the system local to the SCSI tape drive, and
perform the required operation(s) from there.

Please consider an upgrade to a more recent OpenVMS version.
