Windows 98 and PATHWORKS?

» close window

The Question is:

I am using Pathworks for Win 95 on a Win 98 client and the system will not
reboot after
the LAT and NDIS protocols are installed.

System: IBM Aptiva K6-2 266Mhz
Ram: 32MB
OS: Win98
Other: Network protocols: TCP/IP and NetBEUI (all working properly)

I need the Pathworks LAT protocol to connect to
a DEC server and then use EM320 terminal emulator
on the Win98 client. I have this installed on sever
Win95 systems and have never encountered this problem.
Is Pathworks compatible with the K6-2 chip... is it
compatible with Win98?

Thank you for your help.

The Answer is :

You do not indicate what version of PATHWORKS you are attempting to
install. PATHWORKS 32 V7.1a is the release that supports Microsoft
Windows 98. If you are trying to use an earlier release, please
upgrade/update.

If you are experiencing a problem using PATHWORKS 32 V7.1a with
Windows 98, please contact the Customer Support Center for
assistance. We have not recieved any reports of the type of
problem you (briefly) describe.
