MAIL and SENDABORT with TPU editor on V7.1-2?

The Question is:

 
I recently loaded AXP VMS 7.1-2 that Compaq shipped in December.
I have a lot of VMS mail user that use the TPU editor. After the
upgrade from 6.2-1H3 and also on a fresh install TPU
does not work right in mail. When you do a ctrl-z to exit(send)
I get the message %MAIL-E-SENDABORT, no message sent
Help tells me I am hitting crtl-c to cancel. Any idea
on how to fix this. I have also verified the installed images
and they look OK.

The Answer is :

 
  There were reports of a similar-sounding problem with OpenVMS Alpha
  MAIL on V7.1, though the reported problem with MAIL handling the exit
  status processing should have been fixed with OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2.
 
  Please contact the customer support center for assistance.  Expect
  to be asked if another editor operates as expected, and also if there
  are any MAIL* images in the SYS$SPECIFIC: directories.
