The Question is:

 
In a VMS system on an ALPHA 2100 and UCX V4.1, I have a Progress V6.2
database system.
 
Also I have a Progress V7.3 application working on a UNIX ALPHA 4000.
 
I startup my Progress V6 database with a service, like next:
  PROGRESS mydb6 /MULTI=START
                 /NETWORK= TCP
                 /SERVICE= myservice
 
I connect from UNIX, but I can Do it many times, I mean, i connect 1 or 2
times successfully, but then I can't.
 
My system is unstable.
How can I do to solve the problem?

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard would recommend moving to the current ECO of TCP/IP
  Services for OpenVMS for V4.1, or to the current ECO and V4.2 release.
 
  Please contact Progress customer support for assistance with Progress.
