INSTALL and FLK and OPENIN Errors?

» close window

The Question is:

I have an image file installed on both members of a dual node AXP 4100/AXP
8200 SCSI cluster.

The disk is a HSZ-50 driven RAID 5 disk attached to both members of the
cluster. When I try to remove the image I receive an error message, the
operation appears to fail (SHOW/DEVICE/FILES DISK07 still shows the image
open), but INSTALL no longer consider
s the image a known file entry and refuses even to INSTALL LIST it.

What is going on? Why can't I INSTALL REMOVE this image?

A session log is included below for examination.

Best Regards

The Answer is :

Make certain that all processes referencing the specified shareable
image have been restarted when or after the image is reinstalled.

Acquire and install the available INSTALL ECO kit for V6.2.

Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance.
Expect to be asked additional details around the image (eg: is it a
COMMON or is it code), as well as the initial INSTALL command used.
