» close window

The Question is:

UCX v4.2
Listing of the device sockets reveals a large number of them that looks like
the one below:
UCX> show device bg5460 /full
Device_socket: bg5460 Type: STREAM LOCAL REMOTE
                              Port: 0 0
                              Host: 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
                              Service:

                                                           RECEIVE

  SND Buff: None

Is this normal? What is the use of such a device socket?

The Answer is :

In general, acquire and apply the current ECO for TCP/IP Services.

Find out which applications -- if any -- are using this or the other
  BG devices.
