The Question is:

how do i configure nfs?

The Answer is :

  At the website:

    http://www.openvms.digital.com:8000

  Please see:

    /72final/6526/6526profile_contents_003.html#toc_chapter_16
    /72final/6526/6526profile_contents_003.html#toc_chapter_17

Also realize that the TCPIP command used and listed in the (above) manuals
is the direct descendent of the UCX command used on TCP/IP versions prior
to V5.0. V5.0 will install and is supported on OpenVMS VAX V7.1, though
releases such as V4.2 (preferably with the current ECO) are also commonly
used on V7.1. In other words, if you are running a TCP/IP Services
version prior to V5.0, enter the UCX command where you see the manuals
referencing the TCPIP command, and enter logical names beginning with
UCX where you see logical names with TCPIP, etc.
