» close window

The Question is:

What is the difference between OpenVMS V5.5-2 and V5.5-2H4 ?

The Answer is :

The addition of support for various then-new VAX 4000 series systems,
as well as a few other then-new VAX systems. The release is a hardware
release and is not an appropriate vehicle to receive ECOs relevent to
any other VAX systems, and is not particularly benefitial for systems
other than members of the VAX 4000 series. (Please see the OpenVMS FAQ
for information on terms such as "Hardware Release".)
