OpenVMS 100BASE-TX Ethernet?

» close window

The Question is:

We have a DEC alpha server running OpenVMS. Currently it is running
Pathworks through a thinnet network. The company is switching to 100base-TX
ethernet. Do they make NIC's for my DEC that will support that? Can you
make any recommendations?

Thanks,

The Answer is :

The DE500 controller and later controllers are the usual controllers
of choice, though specific information on the particular "DEC alpha
  server" will be required.

Support for other Compaq NICs under OpenVMS is either available, or
is under development -- depending on the particular NIC.
