Printing via PATHWORKS and TCP/IP LPD?

The Question is:

Regarding UCX error 030AEA9A: I Have a 2 node cluster Alpha 7400 running
OpenVMS 6.2-1h3 running UCX version 4.2-eco 2. and am trying to print a
whole document from Pathworks Version 5.0F being passed to a NT server
version 4 and get the following error
on my VMS side: PWRK$SPOOL_200021112363216488 PWRK$DEFUALT 105 Retained
on error %UCX-E-NOMSG, Message number 030AEA9A. I look at the code for the
above message number and get %UCX-E-LPD_FILERROR, File error !AS. I can
send the document page by page
and it prints, I can also send it to an older LAT style printer that is
connected to a DEC90-TL server and the whole document prints. Any
assistance would be great.

The Answer is :

Topic 1020 contains a number of discussions relevent to IP printing,
including discussions of known problems and recommendations around
  printer firmware and such.

The (functioning) LAT printing path reported here is (obviously)
completely different than the reported (non-functional) TCP/IP
  printing path.

Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center -- there are enough
packages and devices and configuration settings involved here that this
will take some rather detailed investigation in order to resolve.
