Corrupted (BACKUP?) file transfer?

The Question is:

 
How do I transfer the files for Watchdog process killer from NT to my VAX
running OpenVMS V7.1.  without having the apparent file corruption that I am
having.  I've tried NT's fpt using ascii and binary without luck.
 
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard is unfamiliar with the Watchdog tool, with the
  particular file formats used by Watchdog on Windows NT and OpenVMS,
  and with the current (and apparently faulty) Watchdog file format(s)
  on OpenVMS.  Please contact the maintainer(s) of Watchdog.
 
  If this is a question of problems with a BACKUP saveset transfer and
  not a question of a file specific to the Watchdog tool, then please
  see section MGMT20 in the OpenVMS FAQ as a start.
 
  When posting questions, please remember to include the command(s) used
