SDA link time mismatch?

» close window

The Question is:

I just started at a new company (for me) and don't know any of the history of
 installs or upgrades...

I fired off $analyze/system and got

SDA-W-SDALINKMISM LINK TIME OF SYS$BASE_IMAGE BUILT INTO SDA$SHARE ( 8-JAN-1998
15:12) DOES NOT MATCH LINK TIME OF IMAGE IN SYSTEM (18-MAY-1998 11:55)

I don't have a good feeling about this and there are NO manuals here.

Any thoughts ?

The Answer is :

Any thoughts? Yep. Someone or something has left the wrong (old)
version of SDA.EXE around somewhere, or something forgot to stick
the current SDA$SHARE image into the IMAGELIB library. Check first
in SYS$SPECIFIC:[SYSEXE], and look at the LIBRARY/REPLACE command.

You will also want to start the process to acquire the OpenVMS
documentation either in hardcopy or on CD media.
