Connecting modem to Internet ISP?

The Question is:

 
How to set up softeware to connect to Internet through modem and com1?
How to define OpenVMS's IP address of WWW?

The Answer is :

 
    	The first part of this has been answered several times.  If you go
    to the search part of ask the wizard and enter "configuring a modem" it
    will give you instruction on setting up the modem.  Step one is getting
    the modem correctly configured.
 
    	Next step is determining if you are getting an address assigned by
    the place where you are connecting of have a static address.  This
    impacts how you set up the PPP interface.  There is online help that
    is quite good.  Again you can use the search tool on the page to get
    some information as well.  But once you have the interface set up.  You
    need to use the PPPD utility to either dial to your service provide
    logon and switch the line.
 
    	As for the last question I am not sure what you are looking for.
