Configuring LPR printing services?

The Question is:

 
when setting up lpd print queues in ucx v4.2 eco1 I can not get the print queue
 to spool to a dir. Below is an example queue set-up please can you advise if
 this correct and how I can trouble shoot further.

  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center.
 
  As you are running OpenVMS V7.1, please consider an upgrade to
  TCP/IP Services V5.0A.
 
  Also consider an upgrade to OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2.
 
  The usual approach for configuring queues is via the provided
  UCX$LPRSETUP/TCPIP$LPRSETUP tool.
