Dial-up (modem) connections for OpenVMS?

The Question is:

 
What's the best way to set up dial-in capability to an Alpha 4100 running VMS?

The Answer is :

 
  At least one (freeware) Radius package is available for OpenVMS, and
  you could easily set up a SLIP or PPP or serial dial-up using a
  (preferably relatively secure) asynchronous modem connected to the
  OpenVMS host or to a terminal server.
