TCP/IP NFS Client RWAST?

» close window

The Question is:

I am running TCP/IP Services for Open VMS V5.0A.When I use the NFS client, it
lets me mount the remote file system with no problem. When I try to access it
(i.e. Show mount, or Dismount), my process goes into a RWAST state.

I am using the DiskShare NFS Server from Intergraph on an NT4.0 server.

Is this a known bug for which a fix exists or am I doing something wrong?

The Answer is :

This could be a problem with the NFS Server or with the NFS Client,
or with the system or network configuration.

Please get Intergraph support involved, to see if they are familiar
with any similar problems with their NFS Server and/or if they have
any available ECO kits for it.

Please also contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance
in resolving this (and to work with Intergraph support or engineering),
as a rather more detailed look at this configuration will be required.
