The Question is:

 
I am having problems on a Alpha with the error analyzer utility and diagnose.
 Any suggestions on what to do?

The Answer is :

 
  ANALYZE/ERROR is no longer used on OpenVMS Alpha.
 
  The download information for DECevent and pointers to the documentation
  and DECevent FAQ are located in the OpenVMS FAQ; see section MGMT37.
 
  Depending on which Alpha is in use, you may need to download the
  Compaq Analyze tool.  Please see the DECevent website for details.
