DEC 2000 serial line configuration?

The Question is:

 
I am running OpenVMS 7.2 on a Jensen/DecPC 15 or DEC 2000 model 300.
 Everything works well thanks to the firmware upgrade file on Compaq's website.
  The problem is trying to get the serial ports to work.  The ECU says that
 there are no configurable resou
rces for those, and it says they are always enabled.  SHO DEV TT returns no
 devices.
 
If these do not work with VMS, is it possible to install a serial ISA card?
