The Question is:

Machine:
DEC Alpha aServer 4100 5/600 8MB
Operating System:
 OpenVMS V6.2-1H3

We have problem with disk.
On one SCSI controller are
  OpenVms say:
1. DKC0: DEC RZ1CB-CS
2. DKC100: DEC RZ1CB-CS
3. DKC200: DEC RZ1CB-CA
4. DKC300: DEC RZ1CB-CA
5. DKC400: COMPAQ BD018635
6. DKC500: COMPAQ BD018635
7. MKC600: TZ89

 Outside label say:
1. DS-RZ1CB-VW
2. DS-RZ1CB-VW
3. DS-RZ1CB-VW
4. DS-RZ1CB-VW
5. DS-RZ1ED-VW
6. DS-RZ1ED-VW

With COMPAQ BD018635 ( or? DS-RZ1ED-VW )
we have "MountVerify mounted" problem.
After the disk was thaken out/in from
slot, disk is mounted ok,but error count
for disk is bigger.*this error repeat's
( other DEC RZ1CB-CS, DEC RZ1CB-CA disk

Is there any Openvms patch for this

DS-RZ1ED-VW is supported
option said Compaq in
AlphaServer 4100 Supported Options List
but
how it is with
 COMPAQ BD018635

Can You help me please

The Answer is :

You appear to have a hardware or a SCSI configuration problem.

OpenVMS does not generally support hot-swapping SCSI disks,
though there are controllers and configurations which can
quiesce the bus and allow for the on-line replacement of
failing storage. Please check the documentation for the
particular storage controller and storage hardware
configuration for details and supported features.

You will want to contact your hardware service organization
to verify the configuration and the firmware versions, and
you will want to ensure that the current mandatory ECO kits
for OpenVMS have been installed. You will also want to look
at the contents of the system error log, to determine what --
if anything relevent -- is being logged. You wil further want
to verify SCSI unit number settings for the SCSI controller(s)
and for all SCSI devices, as well as correct SCSI termination.
