Problems with TCP/IP XDM?

The Question is:

 
We have upgrade a VMSCluster of 2 4100's to 7.3-1, including the tcpip 5.3
 upgrade. One of the desired features was to start using XDM, so that we could
 have an easily accessed CDE environment.  Only thing is that while xdm runs,
we cannot connect to either system via xdm, or even detect it via broadcast.
 we have left all of the xdm config files as installed, and are using the same
 x-term (Exceed) security setup that we use with Tru64.  Any ideas?

The Answer is :

 
  XDM has been tested and is believed to function.
 
  XDM configuration details are in the current TCP/IP Services
  Management documentation, in the section on XDM.
 
  Please contact the support center, as additional details on the
  local configuration (clients, client settings, XDM settings,
  TCP/IP Services configuration, etc) will be required.
 
  Please also consider the installation of the current ECO kit for
  V5.3, as it does contain one XDM-related fix.
