RMS and $GET Index Key Sort (Collation)?

The Question is:

 
Is there any way in RMS to do case insensitive file look-ups?  In other words,
 the data in the file key is mixed case, and I would like to find any matches,
 regardless of the case of the data.

The Answer is :

 
  RMS indexed file collating key support can provide this capability.
  Please see the Guide to OpenVMS File Applications Manual and the
  Record Management Services Reference Manual for details of OpenVMS
  RMS indexed file support and associated capabilities.  In particular,
  the XABKEY structure and the discussion of the XAB$B_RTP field will
